The Three Special Chinese Words 忙 盲 茫 --> mang

1st 忙

The Chinese word for BUSY "忙", consists of two characters:

The one on the left "忄"refers to the "heart", while the one on the right "亡" means "dead".

When we get so busy that we forget our heart, we "die" and become no defferent from the animals.

2nd 盲

Those two characters in Chinese are also pronounced as "mang", which can also mean BLIND "盲".

Again, BLIND consists of two characters:

The one on top is the same as the characters on the right is "BUSY", that is "dead", and the one below "目" means "EYE".

I may be healthy and with nothing with my eye, but because I am so busy, my heart is "dead" that my eyes are unable to see what is essential in life.

3rd 茫

Those characeters in Chinese are pronouced as "mang", which can again, also mean LOST "茫".

LOST consists of three characters:

The one on top "艹" means GRASS, on below left "氵" means water, and the below right is the same as the characters on the right is "BUSY", that is "dead".

I may be so healthy and with nothing with my life, but because I am so busy, my heart is "dead", that I will not find my right way in the world with full of grasses which grow so well near to the waterside.

Report on IGP-TtT, Pagadian, Philippines Day 1

Day I 24.09.2008 (Wednesday)

At 1:20am we finally got on the flight. On our way to the airport I made a mistake, my friend, TAN, sent us to Terminal LCC (LCCT) in order to fetch LE THY Truong Ngan from Vietnam to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). I forgot to double check my ticket; if I had, I'd have noticed that Cebu Pacific Air departed from LCCT so we had to return to the origin airport. However, we learnt a new shortcut from KLIA to LCCT and so Ngan had her first experience in KLIA. So we learnt something from our mistake.

We arrived at Manila at 5am. Metropolitan Manila is a huge city. We were told to remain in the terminal. Dess, the aunt of Star, came to meet us and to pass on our air tickets for the next journey.

We left Manila at 10am and we landed at Ozamiz at 11:20am. Ozamiz is a very small airport, and just like a big chess board standing in the middle of a paddy field. Star came to the airport to met us, and it took us about two hours to reach Pagadian city. We settled down at the Bay Plaza Hotel which is owned by the city mayor.

After a few hours rest, we arranged to have dinner with the city mayor, Sammy CO as well as his guests from the National Examination Department. It was our privilege to share a delicious dinner with the mayor.

Photos explanation:
1. Losing ourselves in the middle of KLIA and LCCT
2. The excited Ngan’s first visit to KLIA
3. Interaction with Dess while transiting in Manila terminal 3
4. Sharing dinner with the city mayor, Sammy CO of Pagadian city and his guests
